Last night was Stockholm's Culture Night, when all sorts of places across the city have events and activities until midnight. We went into Stadhuset- the City Hall- which has several enormous halls, including one that is completely covered in gold mosaic (where the Nobel Prize banquet is held). The one in the top drawing was absolutely vast, full of people, and had a giant organ which someone played from time to time. I was looking forward to hearing it played really loudly so that the building shook, but they were being quite restrained! Later on we went to the Nobel Museum and watched an old film about an alien invasion in Sweden... A good opportunity to draw people's backs- and an entertaining film. The zine-style folded piece of paper is an alternative to taking a whole sketchbook- much more pocket-friendly.
